The Impact of Green Supply Chain Drivers on Reverse Logistics

Abstract

The reverse logistics due to the growing awareness regarding the Green Supply Chain has become an essential part of mostly all the industries. This includes the food industry of Pakistan, and the companies in this industry are taking the policies related to the matter very strictly. Hereby, need arises to investigate if the GSCM is really having a significant impact on the reverse logistics on these companies: Bake Parlor and Kolson Pakistan. The quantitative research method has been chosen in which questionnaire will be filled by around 100 participants, who are manager in these two firms. The descriptive and regression analysis were conducted to understand the impact of green supply chain drivers on reverse logistics that are Bake Parlor and Kolson Pakistan. The results obtained showed that really there is a clear impact of GSCM drivers on reverse logistics of the chosen companies. However, there is always a room for further improvements, which means a further research on the matter to help these companies in minimizing their cost of reveries logistics as well.
