Impact of product quality and high price on customer satisfaction in Departmental store

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is one of the key components in retail industry. Pakistan is one of the fastest growing retail markets in the world. The significance of retail sector in our economy can be measure from the data published by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, according to which retail and wholesale sector worth is PKR 4.36 trillion, representing around 18.2% of GDP 2013-14. According to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) it is estimated that there are around 2 million outlets in the country. From these outlets about 40% represents FMCG channels, besides big supermarkets also include small general store, departmental stores etc.
